I am so proud of my girls!
Julie Ziglar Norman is my youngest daughter, the one who has worked most closely with me in my writing efforts. For almost 20 years she has been my personal editor, refining 27 of the 30 books I have written so far. In 2009 we co-authored Embrace the Struggle: Living Life on Life’s Terms. Following a head injury from a fall down the stairs in my home in 2007, which resulted in some short-term memory loss, Julie traveled and appeared onstage with me through 2010. Together, she and I addressed over one million people.
It was also during that time that Julie’s own speaking career began to take off. If you haven’t heard her yet you are in for a real treat! I am so proud of her. Julie has gained wisdom from her life experiences that will nourish your soul and energize your life. Her faith and obedience to God are powerful examples to her children, grandchildren, and all who know her. Julie talks about what it takes to “Be Your Best You.” Her heart is to help women get beyond guilt, shame, regret and grief so they can be restored to relationship with God and live a life that glorifies and pleases Him.
DeDe Galindo and Amey Fair are two of my amazing granddaughters, and Julie is their mother; DeDe by marriage and, like Amey, who is Julie’s daughter by her first marriage, she is a gift from God. So The Ziglar Women are a mother and two daughters team. The combined stories of these three women and how their lives have been woven together by faith and love will change the way you live your life — for the better. It’s an experience you don’t want to miss!
DeDe is the child of two divorces and now has a blended family of her own with two daughters who came with her marriage to her husband, and their two sons. She talks about the heartbreak of being raised in two unhealthy environments, and how God has blessed her with restoration and joy. DeDe is also a professional speaker and focuses on what she calls, “The Power of Next and The Power of Love.”
After surrendering her broken life to the Lord in 1997 at the age of 21, Amey answered His call to missions. Amey is a wife and mother of four children who has served as a missionary with Youth With A Mission since 1999. Her ministry journeys have taken her to Asia, Europe, and all over Latin America. Amey shares from her heart about living a life of surrender, service and satisfaction, and the unique way that God has gifted women as influencers.
Look for – or create — opportunities to hear The Ziglar Women. It will be a life-changing event!
